Amazing what one can learn from a 20-year-old newspaper such as how commonplace ‘Purge’-like violence against homeless people was and still is: beheadings, immolations, and other brutalities

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,346 AT THE AICP-END

312 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

HANUKKAH 2019 DAY EIGHT

Twenty years ago, ‘bum-bashing’ and ‘troll-busting’ shocked the populace; now, no one seems to give a hoot…
Oildale, CA 93308, 12-29-2019 Sunday:  Yesterday, we were talking about the growing crisis of homelessness and why the left mouths all manner of syrupy-sweet words while doing absolutely nothing to solve the crisis.  Yet, the left bitches and moans like old washerwomen about the ‘crisis of climate change,’ while permitting more human waste to sidestep the water treatment facilities every civilized nation builds and maintains to protect human health, and flows into the sea, thus polluting it beyond redemption and causing ever-growing dead zones to flourish.
The problem is the leftwing maggots could care less about the rank hypocrisy they spout like starlings spout fecal matter because their voters and junior politicians are as stupid as they come.  I mean, look at that insect-like Baby Evita, the one her ogling admirers call ‘AOC,’ the rank skank telling her illiterate followers how the “United States is slipping into fascism.”  The strumpet is THE FASCIST as is the man she blows, the one who knows true fascism and celebrates it, Senator Bernie “Commie” Sanders.
Okay, enough with insulting these soiled dishrags, these overused ass-wipes.  Yesterday, I mentioned something to you I discovered in a 20-year-old newspaper, The Bakersfield Californian, dated 12-26-1999.  The article entitled, “Homeless People becoming More Frequent Targets of Brutal Attacks” is credited to the N.Y. Times News Service.
This article shocked the hell out of me and at my age, it takes quite a bit to do that, like awakening to Rashida Tlaib or Ilhan Omar being the new president.  I have seen a lot, learned a great deal, and have been a bank vault of ever-increasing wisdom, true wisdom, something I sought to share with my students throughout my educational career in the California State University system.   Let me provide you a quote from the first paragraph of the article:
“In Denver, five were pummeled to death and two more beheaded.  In Richmond, Va., one was beaten, stabbed, and beheaded, his head then carried nearly a mile and placed for display on a footbridge.  In Seattle, one was stabbed 18 times, another beaten bloody, then stabbed.” (N.Y. Times News Service, 26-December-1999)
Now, when my wife found the paper cleaning out boxes in our attic, I was ecstatic because I always enjoy being given a piece of history.  History is what keeps (or hopefully prevents) us from repeating the same mistakes but this story caught my eye the moment I unfurled the yellowed page and saw the headline.
The thing that is extremely troubling is talking about ‘beheading’ homeless people as opposed to beating, stomping, stabbing, or shooting them to death.  Some, according to the above-quoted article, are also set on fire and burned to death.
Beheading people or setting them ablaze seems to be absolutely ghastly, Nazi-like, something denoting the perpetrator to be beyond redemption and deserving of perpetual servitude in Gehenna.  Yet, I do not recall having read a similar article in the past decade or so, so either these crimes are in decline or have become so commonplace as to elicit nary a peep from the public.   I seriously doubt it’s the former.
Beheading people causes me, a Jewish man, to think of ONE group in particular that enjoys doing this: Muslims.  For Islamists, beheading people- especially so-called ‘infidels’- is something their phony prophet requires them to do just as Mohammad said it was ‘okay’ to lie to nonbelievers.  Shall I say more?
The other thing of interest in this depressing article is the fact that the perpetrators who were caught were all young people.  Here is what else the article said:
“No one can say for sure why young people in particular seem to be attacking homeless people in increasing numbers.  But looking at arrests in cases of violence against homeless people over several years, by far the majority of the suspects were young teen-agers, or even pre-teen-age boys, who bragged about the attacks afterward.”  (N.Y. Times News Service, 26-December-1999)
Twenty years ago, people were shocked by this sort of mayhem on American streets whereas now, most can barely stifle a yawn, so inconsequential and boring it is.  This is yet another reason as to WHY government at all levels must step in and do the right thing.  We cannot permit our fellow citizens to suffer violence such as what the article depicted.
We have the resources and should put them to use benefitting those most in need of them.  That does not mean throwing money down ratholes never to see it again; no, it means doing what the left-wing Marxists seemingly do not want to do in their ever-increasing drive to push everyone and everything to the hard left and that is taking these people off the streets and institutionalizing them.
The homeless can be restored to an upright position.  The mentally ill and the drug-addicted can be provided the necessary treatment(s) to get them back to being productive citizens or cared for throughout the rest of their lives.   What we cannot do is to permit them to perish on our streets, it is inhumane, un-Judeo-Christian, and a waste of human capital.
What we cannot do is to permit our fellow citizens to continue being the victims of beheadings, immolations, mutilations, torture victims and casualties of a ‘Purge’-like society where many glorify extreme violence and cruelty.  We need to fix our country and we need to fix it now before the socialists take control and the country becomes the new killing fields.
Join me tomorrow.  I will be here as will you…I hope.
