FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,331 AT THE AICP-END

327 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

My wife and I have signed on as poll watchers in the 2020 Elections; what about you?
Pumpkin Center, CA 93313, 12-14-2019 Saturday:  Politics in the United States have been polarized for quite a while now.  It is unfortunate, it is unnecessary, and its un-American.  I can see how it must have been in the late 1850s and into 1860-1861 what with the country at odds over the expansion or restriction of slavery into new territories.  One side put all their eggs in the basket of having slaves do the physical labor while the other side sought to prohibit its expanse or to end it outright at any opportunity.
Now, it’s important that we be honest.  The party of slavery was the Democratic Party.  That is not to say that ALL Democrats supported or relied on slavery but in the South, the domain of the Democrats, slavery was the foundation upon which, their culture was built and around which, their economy revolved.  No slaves, no Southern way of life.
Democrats in the North generally supported their southern brethren.  Some were so vile that they earned the sobriquet of ‘copperheads,’ like the venomous snake.  In the Congress, they fought against the Republicans, a party formed solely to oppose slavery, and used every wicked and abominable trick available to them, every parliamentary procedure and sleight of hand, to protect the sordid institution because they, too, benefitted from the horrid practice by doing business with the South.
The Democrats are really, really good at deflecting the things they are guilty of doing onto their enemies who seem truly inept at fending the muck off.  This has been the problem of the Republicans in modern times that instead of getting down into the trenches and duking things out, they shy away from action in the hopes that the criticism heaped atop them will not be quite as virulent and ugly as what it could be.
Sadly, the Republicans seldom fight.  When George W. Bush was the president, his supporters- including me- were aghast, time and time again, because the Democrats never let up in their attacks, coming at him from all sides, saying some of the most disgusting and depraved stuff, and he stood there mute, taciturn, and seldom if ever fended off the attacks, much to the anger of his voting base.
Look, I get it, he said he REVERED the institution of the presidency and did not want to resort to the basest emotions and pushback against those seeking to demolish him.  While that is all well and good, if a president- under 24/7/365 assault by people seeking to coerce him from office via whatever means necessary- being voted out, impeached, causing him to drop dead or propel some nut to assassinate him, and/or whatever else- won’t fight back, then why the hell should we support him?
This is the reason Donald Trump won the 2016 Election.  It was not because Vladimir Putin provided him aid and offered him support, it was because he talked like someone who meant business, someone who answered every attack, assault, or smear with the same, if not worse, and we voters who had suffered through two Bush presidencies saw someone who could be one of us.
The Democrats have failed to understand the truth of the moment.  They put everything they had into Robert S. Mueller III doing the impossible, coming up with a sham with which they could drive the hated Trumpster out of office.  Adam Schiff and that dingbat, Eric Swalwell, were on TV night after night, all professing to have the ‘goods on Trump’ with which, they were going to expel him from office.  Only, they didn’t.
Mueller could not do what the Dems had hoped and prayed he could.  Trump survived.  At that point, common sense should have dictated that they put all efforts from that point forward into getting him out of office in the subsequent presidential election along with as many of his supporters as possible in House, Senate, and across the country, like what we did to Barack Hussein Obama’s Democratic Party in 2010, 2012, and again in 2014, more than 1,000 seats all told.
Sadly for them, that was not good enough so they kept going back to the kitchen, trying to outdo their last batch of Southern-style, deep-fried Democratic goo, to find one more ingredient after another, via focus groups, via a phony whistleblower named Eric Ciaramella, some flaming pansy from the Deep State, an Obama acolyte, a POS, so they could get President Trump.  This is going to cost them big.
They may think the screeching banshees on Twitter represent the majority of Americans.  I am here to tell you that they do not. In fact- even though we have a miniscule platform on Twitter- I am here to tell you that mostly LOSERS use the platform just as they do Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and the rest of this screwy crap.  What is said there means nothing yet elected members of Congress use as some sort of gauge to determine their levels of support for their lunacy.
Friends, the country is angry, just not at what the Democrats assume they are.  Look, we get it, Trump might seem a bit rough around the edges but oh, boohoo.  The Democrats can bellyache about everything he does that rubs their backsides raw but again, oh, boohoo.  Stop with the sniveling, stop with the lying, shut the hell up, and prepare for Armageddon.  What is coming in 2020 is not going to be pretty, fun, or enjoyable until the smoke clears and the Dems are lying on the floor, boots up.
There is a ‘silent majority’ and its members are angry, growing angrier by the day.  We are going to swab the decks with the faces of the Democrats and they will go down in electoral history as the party that threw away numerous opportunities to participate in something amazing but chose to commit fratricide and going the way of the Whigs.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch.  I cannot wait to vote and my wife and I have already signed on to server as poll watchers.  No busses of illegal aliens are going to vote in whatever precinct they post us.
See you tomorrow.

Posted @ the Friday, October 10, 2014 Blog Post A:

Ian Hunter released his next effort, “Secret Sessions,” on February 07, 2012.  If you like tidbits uncovered in vaults, this demo-quality album is one to behold.  You find the artist and principal musical companion Mick Ronson working with Corky Laing (drums/percussion) and Felix Pappalardi (bass/vocals) from Mountain.  The album was recorded prior to “You’re Never Alone with a Schizophrenic” and who knows what might have been?  We sure as heck don’t.  Ah, well, for musical archivists, this is something to investigate so please, use the link we provide you here so you can check it out for yourselves…you will be glad you did.
