WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,339 AT THE AICP-END

319 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

HANUKKAH 2019 DAY ONE

I know what socialism looks like and I don’t like what I’m seeing among the Democrats…
Century City, CA 90067, 12-22-2019 Sunday:  Good morning, friends, this is the last day of the year for me.  I want to thank Chefs Stinkbug, Alvin, and my other colleagues for giving me a third week this year.  I am greatly appreciative for what they have done for me, for the chef-bloggers here, and for the American people.  Culinary professionals generally are a conservative, patriotic bunch, because we do not make vast sums of money doing what we love.  Many times, we manage to keep our heads above water but that is about it.  Far too many restauranteurs have gone out of business, chafing under liberal control and oppressive taxes, hence why so many of us love and support Donald Trump.  Lower taxes, less regulations, and not driving the minimum wage up has allowed us to remain in business and to offer jobs and careers to our fellow Americans.
Yesterday, I was talking about how we are on the edge of another national conflagration, thanks to the intransigence and stubborn hatred our opponents, the Democrats, manifest.  WHY are they so angry all the time, why have they given voice to a crackpot minority among them, people claiming to be ‘Democratic-Socialists’ and not ‘Democrats?’
There is a vast difference between being ‘Democratic-Socialists’ and just plain old “Democrats.”  Democrats used to claim they were the party of the blue-collar men and women of the nation.  They used to defend the rights of minorities like blacks, Latinos, Asians, as well as of various ethnicities.  While we may have disagreed with one another as to how we went about doing these things, we never doubted that they did not love the country.  Now, sadly, we do.
You know, I have told you my origin story before, how I was born in Greece around the time the Italians invaded our country and then had to rely on their Nazi allies to help them win the mess in which, Benito Mussolini’s Fascists found themselves.
My first memories were of privation, I was a young child when the Allies liberated our country which then found itself in the middle of a civil war between royalists and communists.  My family had to flee the communists who were NOT socialists as they knew it because they proved to be worse than the Fascists and the Nazis.  I was fortunate enough to come to the United States and become a citizen something for which, I will be forever grateful.
My parents were always leftists in their hearts.  They believed that liberalism held all the answers to humanity’s needs.  Of course the communists were the ones who drove us from our homeland because my family had seen enough war so they sought peace here in the greatest country of the world.
They remained mum about their political leanings as to admit to being ‘socialists’ would have kept them out what with the Cold War brewing.  I reflected their views as that was what they taught me but then over the past several years, I have gradually moved away from the left side of the aisle to the right, all because I am seeing something now that tugs at the strings of my memory, what I remember when we fled Greece when I was a child.
The Democrats can wail and weep that President Trump is a dictator.  Wah-wah-wah.  I KNOW dictators and they aren’t good.  IF President Trump was or is a dictator, every Democrat right now would find themselves clustered together in various sports stadiums across the country until they could undergo processing.
Many among the leadership- people like Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, people like Adam Schiff and Jerrold Nadler, others like Maxine Waters and the Castro Brothers and far too many others would find themselves standing atop the gallows, their families extirpated, their assets seized through proscription, we would be washing our hands of these miserable sons-of-bitches and we would be clapping their demise.
Likewise, I would hope that the FBI, DHS, and every other federal law enforcement agency would swoop down on every sanctuary location in the country, arrest and charge the leaders with treason and then gather them for mass show trials.  Moreover, I would hope that ICE and INS would locate, round up, and deport every illegal alien and their American offspring, and close the book on the ‘popular vote’ the Dems claim is theirs.
IF President Trump were the dictator the Dems claim he is, we would see all of this happen and the American people would hail him as the greatest leader in the history of the country.  Like El Caudillo Francisco Franco, he would rule the country for 30-40 years restoring democracy and sanity to a country long-overrun with liberal termites, cockroaches, and other pesky vermin.  IF President Trump were a dictator…
In closing for the year, let me say this, something Chef Lilah said on her Twitter page (I am surprised that the losers running that parody of free speech have not slammed the door on her as they have Stinky and Mo): the Dems are responsible for what is coming their way and Lilah says that ‘we should put them up against the wall as Greta Sundberg said, something that apparently means something else in her native Sweden.’
Well, I want to put them up against the wall and let nature take its course.  We are living in dark and dangerous times, the seas are black and roiling over, the fetid stench of Marxism and Stalinism and Maoism are sweeping the land.  It is us or it is them and I choose “us.”
Folks- have a wonderful merry Christmas, a glorious Hanukkah, a fabulous Kwanzaa, and a prosperous New Year.  I will leave you with this question: WHEN Speaker Pelosi loses the House a second time and more than 68 Democrats lose their House seats along with others in the Senate, will THEY leave willingly or will we have to round the earwigs up and boot them out like the parasites they are?
Let me know what YOU think.  See you next year, God bless and good luck.
