We begin offering albums by the great British band, King Crimson, one of the groups that came over in the Third British Invasion of America, 1969.  The group at first had a chaotic lineup but eventually over the years would solidify into a fairly solid unit.  The first album, “In the Court of the Crimson King” came out on October 10, 1969 and featured Peter Sinfield (lyrics, synthesizer, and the lights), Greg Lake (bass and vocals), Michael Giles (drums and vocals), Ian McDonald (numerous instruments and vocals), and Robert Fripp (numerous instruments and vocals and who would become the undisputed leader of the group as time passed).  The debut album was highly received and was called “The Acid Album of New York” in 1969.  If you are a fan of experimental English bands, then this CD is for YOU.
